Freshmen (never attended college) must submit the following:
- Official Transcript from all High Schools
- Counselor/Teacher Recommendation
- Optional: ACT/SAT scores
*Some freshmen may be required to submit writing samples, letters of recommendation
and/or interview with our Academic Support Staff.
Transfer applicants must submit the following:
- A completed CSU Application
- Official transcript(s) from each College/Universities attended
Applicants with 24 or more college-level semester hours must have a cumulative grade
point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 grading scale based on ALL college-level work attempted.
Applicants with fewer than the required number of hours of earned credit must have
at least a 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale based on all college-level work
attempted, a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale from the last institution attended, and meet the freshmen
admission requirements.
Use of your Social Security Number (SSN): Your social security number is not required
for admission to the university; however, by providing it, you will help us to match
your application materials and is required if you are applying for federal financial
aid (FAFSA). The university is committed to ensuring the privacy and confidentiality
of student records and will not disclose your SSN without your consent for any purpose
except as allowed by law.
Permanent Residents (Non-U.S. Citizens)
- Permanent residents must attach a copy of both sides of their Permanent Resident registration
card to this application.
- Permanent residents should review admissions criteria regarding freshman and transfer applicants.
- Permanent residents who have attended secondary or post secondary institutions outside
the U.S. must submit the documentation that is indicated below:
Original or true copies of all secondary and post secondary educational records. All
documents in a language other than English must be accompanied by a certified translation
and credentials from all secondary schools attended abroad must be accompanied by
a certified detailed evaluation from a nationally known credentials evaluator. See
